Born on December 5, 1865 in Iasi, Romania, Lisa Einhorn began her professional acting career with Abraham Goldfaden’s troupe where she starred as the lead in the 1880 production of Shulamith. She toured regularly throughout Eastern Europe with Goldfaden, Hershl Goldenberg, and the Royal National Theatre in Bucharest. She briefly toured the U.S. in the early 1900s with Ivan Abramson.
