Friday, June 28, 2013
Join Mayrent Institute Director Henry Sapoznik for the first ever Wisconsin Public Radio Klezmer Sound Salon. For the first time ever, the Sound Salon will hit the airwaves with a special edition of WPR’s popular morning show 45 North, hosted by Anne Strainchamps. Sapoznik will talk about klezmer, play a few examples from the Mayrent Collection, which is comprised of over 9,000 Yiddish 78s, and give a preview of the upcoming A Biselle KlezKamp.

(This show aired Friday, June 28, at 10:00am on WPR’s Ideas Network stations. To stream or download an archived version of the show, go here.)
